What is the Nighthawk Foundation? · The Nighthawk Foundation Inc. established in 1994, is a 501 (c) (3) Charitable Organization dedicated to helping handicapped children. · The Nighthawk Foundation Inc. is a unique fund raising organization because all of its work is done by volunteers. As a result, all of the money received from contributions goes directly toward the purchase of equipment for a handicapped child or is paid to medical care providers for that child. None of the contributed money is used to pay salaries. What types of things does the
Nighthawk Foundation cover?
· Our mission is to defray the cost of medical expenses related to their disability, or provide special needs such as Seeing Eye Dogs, Partheisus, Apparatuses, Alpha Talkers, and Chair Lifts etc. ·
Provide equipment that will lessen the impact
of a child’s disability or reduce what may be a continuing and overwhelming
medical services debt. How does the Nighthawk Foundation
select applications? 1. All applications are reviewed by the committee. 2. Once reviewed and selected for further consideration, a review committee meets with the families to confirm the information on the application and that the assistance is truly needed. 3. After the meeting with the families the review committee will take their findings and recommendation back to the committee for approval or rejection.
